A new Shorewood Alumni Directory will be published shortly by Alumni Research Inc. Alumni Research is providing an Online Shorewood Alumni Directory as well as a hard copy. To participate in the Online Directory, see Online Community Directory.
Please Note: Alumni Research is a private corporation providing a service. Although we have provided them with information and pictures, neither the high school nor the SHS Alumni Association benefits directly from money paid to Alumni Research for a directory or other services.
Drive to Distinction
The Drive to Distinction (D2D) campaign to renovate the outdoor athletic facilities at the high school continues to refine plans and encourage donations. Ground breaking activities took place in August., 2007. Phase One of the renovation, which includes removal of the current buildings and installation of a new and wider field, track and bleachers is underway. Nominations Sought for Future "Tradition of Excellence” Awards
Twenty-five alumni and former teachers have been honored with the district Tradition of Excellence Award since the first award was given to Chief Justice William Rehnquist in 2003. Anyone who wishes to nominate a future award recipient may send a recommendation letter to the Tradition of Excellence Committee in care of the high school (1701 E. Capitol Dr., Shorewood WI 53211). Alumni must have graduated at least 25 years ago and have distinguished themselves in public service, the arts, the humanities, the sciences, academics, business, the professions or in serving others. The intent is to honor all graduates as we recognize the accomplishments of a few.

In addition, former teachers Margaret Joseph, Louis Romano, Peter Colosimo and Margaret Sturr have been honored.
Scholarship Information
The Shorewood High School Alumni Scholarship Trust was established in 1962. Scholarships to graduating seniors have been awarded every year since that time at the discretion of an appointed board of trustees. Two to three $1000 scholarships are awarded annually.
Donations to the Trust are always welcome. Make checks payable to the SHS Alumni Scholarship Trust and mail them to the SHS Alumni Scholarship Trust, 1701 E. Capitol Dr., Shorewood, WI 53211.
