The SHS Alumni Association invites you to join the organization dedicated to supporting our graduates with connections to SHS and each other, and to helping our alma mater continue to provide an excellent educational experience. In fact, we have just started working on an endowment to serve this mission. Your $20 tax deductible annual membership not only helps keep the small expenses covered for the all-volunteer Alumni Association, it is contributing to the endowment, in order to support the school. Endowment Information
The Shorewood High School Alumni Association has just voted to create an Endowment for the school through the Greater Milwaukee Foundation. With this option, your donation will be contributing to an ongoing legacy of support. While scholarships assist new graduates of the high school, the endowment will strive to help sustain an enriching and academically rigorous environment for those students to achieve competitive success for seats in those schools. Shorewood High School needs our help due to state and federal budget cuts, increasing costs of maintenance of a buildings from 1920's, and the Alumni Association's commitment to helping sustain high academic standards. Join in a new and exciting era of support for Shorewood High School by contributing to this fund, which is backed by one of the country's finest management foundations. Donations to the endowment are always welcome. Make checks payable to the SHS Alumni Association Acorn Fund and mail them to the SHS Alumni Association, 1701 E. Capitol Dr., Shorewood, WI 53211.
Scholarship Information
The Shorewood High School Alumni Scholarship Trust was established in 1962. Scholarships to graduating seniors have been awarded every year since that time at the discretion of an appointed board of trustees. Two to three $500 scholarships are awarded annually. Donations to the scholarship trust are payable to the SHS Alumni Scholarship Trust and sent to the SHS Alumni Association Scholarship Trust, 1701 E. Capitol Dr., Shorewood, WI 53211.

Shaw Scholarship, Kurt Leswing Scholarships
A Memorial Scholarship Fund has been set up by the family and friends of Kurt Leswing (2005 grad). Kurt was in Hong Kong in early November participating in a Semester at Sea program sponsored by the University of Virginia when he was hit by a drunk driver and died.

Drive to Distinction
The Drive to Distinction (D2D) campaign to renovate the outdoor athletic facilities at the high school continues to refine plans and encourage donations. Phase One of the renovation, which included installation of a new and wider field and track is complete. See drivetodistinction.org to view plans and find out how you can help.
