A Memorial Scholarship Fund has been set up by the family and friends of Kurt Leswing (2005 grad). Kurt was in Hong Kong in early November participating in a Semester at Sea program sponsored by the University of Virginia when he was hit by a drunk driver and died.

The SHS Alumni Association, which began in 2003, is looking for new board members, particularly from classes of the 1950's and 60's. A new Shorewood Alumni Directory was published in 2008 by Alumni Research Inc. Alumni Research is providing an Online Shorewood Alumni Directory as well as a hard copy. To participate in the Online Directory, see Online Community Directory.
Please Note: Alumni Research is a private corporation providing a service. Although we have provided them with information and pictures, neither the high school nor the SHS Alumni Association benefits directly from money paid to Alumni Research for a directory or other services.
Drive to Distinction
The Drive to Distinction (D2D) campaign to renovate the outdoor athletic facilities at the high school continues to refine plans and encourage donations. Phase One of the renovation, which included installation of a new and wider field and track is complete. See drivetodistinction.org to view plans and find out how you can help.

Scholarship Information
The Shorewood High School Alumni Scholarship Trust was established in 1962. Scholarships to graduating seniors have been awarded every year since that time at the discretion of an appointed board of trustees. Two to three $1000 scholarships are awarded annually.
Donations to the Trust are always welcome. Make checks payable to the SHS Alumni Scholarship Trust and mail them to the SHS Alumni Scholarship Trust, 1701 E. Capitol Dr., Shorewood, WI 53211.
