Dates to Remember:
2012-13 School Year Course Selection Process
On Wednesday, January 25, students received course selection materials. The packet included a color coded Course Selection form specific to their next grade level, an Individual Learning Plan to map out the student’s courses while in high school, as well as, a form listing all courses offered at SHS.
The Course Selection form should be filled out, signed by a parent and student, and brought back to school on Wednesday, February 1st, 2012. On this day, students will take the form to their Math class where their teacher will collect and forward them to the Student Support Office. The week of February 6th, students will attend a scheduled session in the computer lab with their math class. School Counselors will return course selection sheets to students in order to have them enter their selected courses into Power School. For more information, please refer to the 2012 Parent Letter.

SHS Scholarship and Awards Information
Shorewood High School is able, through the generosity of many public and private donors, to offer scholarships based not only on student financial needs but also for students with widely different interests and talents. There are brief descriptions for the available scholarships that outline the different careers, interests and service that our senior scholarships are intended to support. Please consider the purpose of the scholarship you are interested in, and be sure and support your candidacy with relevant information that demonstrates your link to the award. We are extremely fortunate to enjoy the continued support of the community and our Shorewood alumni, that allows us to offer these scholarship awards to our senior class. All awards and scholarship documents are online. Applications are due by February 18.
